Essential Job Duties Support Manufacturing locations as needed for monthly close and other reports. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and participate in quarterly account analysis of balance sheet activities. Ensure the financial reporting and accounting processes are timely, accurate, and responsive to management needs. Interpret, apply, and maintain compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, cost accounting standards, internal controls, and established financial policies, procedures, and systems. Assess the accuracy and reliability of accounting data, evaluate the effectiveness of existing accounting procedures and controls, and recommend improvements. Develop, recommend and implement accounting practices to promote consistency, best practices, automation, and operational efficiency. Provide support for the SAP material ledger accounting system during the monthly close activities. Perform a variety of monthly reporting responsibilities and assist the supervisor with ad hoc reporting and financial analysis. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of 18 hours of Accounting. Minimum 2 years of accounting experience. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills. Additional Desired Qualifications Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or CMA designation. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Willingness to relocate in the future. Experience with integrated ERP accounting systems including SAP, PAx, Business Warehouse (BW).
