Responsibilities As an Occupational Therapist at Powerback, you help patients gain function and independence through assessment, planning, and delivery of therapy. You collaborate with the rehabilitation team and refer patients as needed. You provide instruction to patients and caregivers to promote independence. Assess patient needs and develop individualized recovery plans. Deliver occupational therapy interventions. Train patients and caregivers on skills to support independence. Collaborate with peers and coordinate referrals. Design programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence. Adapt to patients’ varying needs across multiple settings. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE. Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
