Human Resources Generalist

HR Generalist Airlines Location: Fort Worth, Texas Help shape the employee experience at the world's largest airline. Are you an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment? We are looking for an HR Generalist to join its Global People Team, supporting the Inflight division and partnering with leaders to deliver exceptional people solutions for one of the airline's most important workforces—its Flight Attendants. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a globally recognised organisation, influencing employee relations, talent development and organisational performance while supporting leaders through complex people challenges. The Opportunity As an HR Generalist, you'll partner closely with People Business Partners, Centres of Excellence and operational leaders to provide expert HR guidance across the employee lifecycle. From employee relations and performance management to workforce planning and talent development, you'll play a key role in creating a positive, high-performing workplace while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies. Key Responsibilities Partner with leaders across the Inflight department to provide day-to-day HR support and guidance Conduct employee relations investigations, ensuring fair, consistent and timely outcomes Advise managers on performance management, career development and progressive discipline Support the resolution of employee concerns through coaching, mediation and practical HR advice Work alongside People Business Partners to deliver talent, engagement and organisational initiatives Analyse workforce data and trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement Support recruitment, onboarding, internal mobility and offboarding activities Partner with specialist teams to manage workplace accommodation requests Ensure HR practices remain compliant with employment legislation and company policies Build trusted relationships with leaders and employees across the business About You You’ll be a proactive HR professional who enjoys building relationships, solving complex people challenges and supporting leaders in a dynamic operational environment. You’ll ideally have: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) At least three years' experience within a Human Resources Generalist or HR Advisor role Strong employee relations and investigation experience Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Desirable PHR or SPHR certification Knowledge of US employment legislation, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, NLRB and Title VII Experience supporting unionised or collective bargaining environments Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting HR data and workforce metrics Advanced Microsoft Office skills You’ll be part of a global organisation that connects people and places across the world while investing in the growth and wellbeing of its employees.
