Occupational Therapist School Setting in Peoria, AZ

Step into a meaningful role supporting students' growth by providing occupational therapy services to PreK-8th grade learners. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity spans the academic year, offering the chance to collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals in a dynamic setting. You will be one of three occupational therapists focused on school-based interventions and strategies that empower every child to access their education and develop critical life skills.


Desired Qualifications:

• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Previous experience in a school-based environment preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
• Experience supporting diverse student populations across multiple grades

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored for PreK-8th grade students
• Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals in coordination with teachers and support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state requirements
• Consult and collaborate with educators, counselors, and parents to maximize student outcomes
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to help foster inclusive learning environments
• Adapt therapy strategies to address unique student needs and developmental levels
