Company Description LIFTING SPIRITS THERAPY SERVICES, INC is a pediatric multi-disciplinary practice providing occupational therapy (OT), physical therapy (PT), speech-language pathology (SLP), and applied behavior analysis (ABA) services. The practice focuses on supporting children and their families through coordinated, evidence-informed care tailored to individual needs. Team members collaborate across disciplines to help children reach functional, developmental, and behavioral goals. The clinic is located at 500 Spring St SE, Suite 101, in Gainesville, Georgia, serving the local community and surrounding areas. Role Description The Physical Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Gainesville, GA. This role involves evaluating pediatric clients, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing direct physical therapy interventions to support mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence. The Physical Therapist will collaborate closely with OT, SLP, and ABA professionals, as well as families and caregivers, to ensure consistent, family-centered care. Daily responsibilities include documenting clinical findings, maintaining accurate treatment records, participating in care team meetings, and educating families on home exercise programs and safety. The role may also include occasional home or community-based visits as appropriate, within practice guidelines. Qualifications Strong foundation in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with experience or training in pediatric settings. Knowledge of Medicine and Patient Care principles, including safe, evidence-informed clinical decision-making. Ability to support functional progress in clinic and Home Care environments, including development of home-based exercise and carryover plans. Current license or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Georgia. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent accredited degree in Physical Therapy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues. Ability to adapt interventions to diverse developmental needs and cultural backgrounds in a non-discriminatory, inclusive manner.
