Job Description

One of the premier Orthopedics and Pain Management clinics is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to support claims processing, insurance billing, payment posting, denial resolution, and reimbursement. Responsibilities:

• Review patient accounts to ensure accurate charges and billing information. 
• Prepare and submit claims to commercial and government payers. 
• Review billing and coding information for accuracy and completeness. 
• Research and resolve claim rejections and resubmit corrected claims. 
• Communicate with clinical and coding teams to resolve missing information. 
• Maintain accurate patient information in EMR and billing systems. 
• Ensure compliance with payer guidelines and billing regulations.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical medical claims/billing experience.
• Experience using EMR systems such as eClinicalWorks, Athena, Allscripts, Practice Fusion, and AdvancedMD is required.

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
