Phlebotomist
$23 - $28 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist Float for its Encinitas, California facility to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient services. The position operates Monday-Friday with rotating Saturday availability and requires a valid California phlebotomy license.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other assays
- Enter patient information accurately and perform specimen preparation for testing
- Process billing information, collect payments, and maintain patient records
- Provide customer service and travel to additional sites as required
Requirements
- Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven exceptional customer service track record
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Compensation: $23.00 - $28.00 hourly; quarterly incentive bonus program eligibility
