RN Acute Care / Med-Surg Adult – Nights

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts with Weekend Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in an Acute Care / Med-Surg setting
• Plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Apply specialized knowledge related to critical disease states including orthopedic post-surgical care, hybrid cath lab procedure recovery, and acute and chronic illness management
• Participate in call rotation, taking one call shift per two-week period as needed based on staffing requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado
• Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or similar RN experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with orthopedic surgical patient populations
• Familiarity with observation (OBS) unit workflows and telemetry monitoring
