Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking an Orthodontic Dental Assistant to work at a facility in Little Rock, AR.

Pay Rate: $20 / hour

Duties: Job Summary: As an Orthodontic Assistant you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care by assisting the doctor in orthodontic procedures, treatment planning, and patient education. You will help maintain a well-organized practice by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, assisting in procedures and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for orthodontic procedures.
• Assist the doctor with patient treatment, positioning instruments, and handling orthodontic appliances.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, post-procedure care, and oral hygiene.
• Manage patient scheduling and assist with front-office tasks as needed.
• Support dentists and staff with treatment planning, billing, and insurance matters.
• Ensure accurate submission of expenses and invoices.
• Maintain office inventory, including supplies and equipment.
• Address patient and employee concerns professionally.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Education: Required Education: -Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program. OR -One year of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant. Preferred Education: -N/A

Required Certifications & Licensure: -CPR card. -Registered Dental Assistant. -X-Ray certification. Preferred Certifications & Licensure: -N/A
