Registered Nurse - Surgical Services

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day 3x12-Hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with required weekend coverage on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Job Description

This position is for a Registered Nurse with experience in surgical services, specifically in urgent and emergent cases within Orthopedic and Neurosurgical fields. The role includes circulating a variety of surgical procedures while maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio, ensuring high-quality patient care during surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Circulate complex surgical cases, particularly in Ortho and Neuro specialties.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and ensure surgical compliance.
• Assist in patient assessment and post-operative care.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of practice (compact license preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in surgical services.
• Current BLS and CNOR certifications.
• Demonstrated competency in circulating a wide range of surgical procedures, including but not limited to craniotomies and spinal surgeries.
