Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner

A Long Island-based nonprofit services organization is actively seeking a new, licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) in Suffolk County, providing psychiatric and medical assessments and treatments.

About the Opportunity:

Schedule: Full-Time
Hours: Standard business
Setting: Clinical Services Department

Responsibilities:

Conducting comprehensive psychiatric and medical assessments
Developing and supervising medication administration procedures
Providing backup medical coverage during staff absences
Ensuring accurate clinical documentation
Supervising and training staff on medical practices
Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

Master's Degree
Current NYS licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)
Advanced knowledge of Psychopharmacology
Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
Effective clinical direction and decision-making

Desired Qualifications

Proficiency in Clinical Documentation and e-Prescribing
