What You'll Do

• Provide expert post-anesthesia patient care in the PACU setting
• Monitor patient recovery, vital signs, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
• Assess patient conditions, implement interventions, and document care activities accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about recovery processes and discharge instructions
• Adhere to all safety, health, and compliance standards and regulations
• Utilize clinical protocols and evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality care

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in PACU or related surgical recovery settings
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical skills, organizational abilities, and effective communication
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
