Call Center Representative

Addison Group is partnering with a rapidly growing logistics organization seeking call center agents to join their team. Job Title: Call Center Agent Location: Barrington, IL Pay: $20-$21/hour (based on experience) Hours : Monday through Friday from 9-6 pm *few shifts available Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Job Description: The Call Center Agent serves as a primary point of contact for customers regarding deliveries, pickups, order status updates, scheduling requests, and issue resolution. Key Responsibilities: Handle 100+ daily incoming and outgoing customer communications via phone, email, and chat. Coordinate delivery and pickup schedules while providing timely updates and estimated arrival information. Assist customers with shipment inquiries, service requests, disputes, and claims. Process customer orders and facilitate payment transactions through company-approved systems. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of one year of call center experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Experience in industries such as banking, insurance, collections, fraud prevention, call centers, or similar customer-focused roles preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
