Role Synopsis

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasonic examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work closely with radiologists and physicians to deliver exceptional quality diagnostic images
• Operatively manage imaging equipment while promptly addressing any technical issues
• Precisely document imaging procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical system

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
