Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all examinations by communicating clearly and empathetically
• Engage closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce images that meet high diagnostic standards
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment while promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Qualifications

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
