Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
• Certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• At least one year of relevant clinical experience preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities
• Adaptability to various hospital settings

Responsibilities:

• Perform, document, and coordinate respiratory care for patients of all ages
• Operate and maintain ventilators, pulmonary function equipment, and other therapeutic devices
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to assess patient condition and deliver optimal care
• Provide emergency airway management and respond to code situations
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and equipment usage
