Position: Integrated Mental Health Therapist II / III / Licensed (Posting #26652) Hourly Rate: $28.68 – $32.26 (for Mental Health Therapist II, III) Annual Salary: $73,528.00 (for Licensed Mental Health Therapist) Position Summary The Integrated Mental Health Therapist (IMHT) works full‑time at the Tacoma – Cushman Behavioral Health Clinic and serves as a core member of the Clinical Care Team. The IMHT provides diagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, and case management in coordination with other treatment teams. The role supports patients with chronic medical and behavioral health conditions, delivers psycho‑educational education (e.g., suicide risk assessment, behavior modification), and maintains comprehensive documentation in patient charts with strong emphasis on communication with the broader medical clinic. Integrated MH Therapist II Provides brief, strength‑based and solution‑focused services to adults, children and families, assisting with emotional and behavioral stabilization, suicide prevention, de‑escalation, and crisis referral. Also offers motivational‑based wellness coaching, collaborating with patients to set self‑management goals and increase motivation. Education and Experience (II) Master’s degree from an accredited university in psychology, counseling or social work that includes coursework in psychological diagnostics. One to three (1‑3) years of experience in the field, before or after completing the Master’s degree. Integrated MH Therapist III Provides brief, strength‑based and solution‑focused services to adults, children and families, assisting with emotional and behavioral stabilization, suicide prevention, de‑escalation, and crisis referral. Also offers motivational‑based wellness coaching, collaborating with patients to set self‑management goals and increase motivation. Education and Experience (III) Master’s degree from an accredited university in psychology, counseling or social work that includes coursework in psychological diagnostics. Three (3) or more years of experience in the field, before or after completing the Master’s degree. Integrated MH Therapist Licensed Provides brief, strength‑based and solution‑focused services to adults, children and families, assisting with emotional and behavioral stabilization, suicide prevention, de‑escalation, and crisis referral. Also offers motivational‑based wellness coaching, collaborating with patients to set self‑management goals and increase motivation. Educates staff on mental‑health service referral processes and psycho‑educational topics per behavioral health protocols. Education and Experience (Licensed) Master’s degree from an accredited university in psychology, counseling or social work that includes coursework in psychological diagnostics. Three (3) or more years of experience in the field, before or after completing the Master’s degree. Candidate preference: Bilingual in Spanish, Korean, Swahili or Hindi.
