TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Lebanon, New Hampshire, 03756!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour PM-AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required. License: Active Registered Nurse license. Certifications: Relevant certifications required. Must-Have: - Experience with chest tubes. - Proficient in managing various drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone. - Familiarity with lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients. - Knowledge of trachs and laryngectomies. - Experience with telemetry monitoring. - Skills in complex wound care. - Competence in central line care, maintenance, and blood draws. Description: Position only available for a start on August 17. Guaranteed hours are 48 per week. Patients will include diverse medical conditions rather than surgical. Care involves patients with acute or chronic illnesses such as sepsis and various infectious processes. Experience with acute kidney injury or chronic kidney disease (both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis) is necessary. Knowledge in managing diabetes, gastrointestinal issues, and fluid/electrolyte imbalances is required. Experience with alcohol withdrawal, liver disease, and substance misuse is essential. Expected care of patients with endocarditis and heart disease. Skills in managing skin and wound issues are necessary. Experience with acute and chronic respiratory illnesses, including COPD, flu, pneumonia, and cystic fibrosis, is expected. The unit accommodates patients across all medical specialties requiring admission.
