Adjunct Instructor

Position Summary The University of South Carolina School of Law is seeking adjunct professors to teach law school courses during the Fall 2026 semester. Applicants should have strong academic credentials and demonstrate a high probability of success as a teacher and a willingness to contribute to the law school’s academic community. Responsibilities Teach law school courses during the Fall 2026 semester. Contribute to the law school’s academic community. Qualifications J.D. degree. At least two years of teaching or practice experience. Schedule and Compensation Part‑time, 20 hours per week. The work schedule will vary depending on the class schedule. Flexible schedule to meet department needs. Salary dependent upon qualifications. Application Requirements Once hired, submit J.D. transcript for accreditation.
