Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a hybrid role involving both inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will work with a mixed patient load including typically 1-3 adult outpatient therapy sessions per day along with acute hospital cases. The position requires proficiency in performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech and language disorders.
• Provide therapy services to adult patients, focusing on rehabilitation and improvement of communication skills.
• Perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies to assess swallowing function.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to formulate comprehensive patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP, and State License in Speech Language Pathology.
• Ability to work independently and perform required assessments and evaluations without direct supervision.
