Maintenance Mechanic
1st and 2nd shift
Pay rate up to $30/hr.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment to ensure consistent and reliable operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, conveyors, and facility equipment to minimize downtime.
- Perform conveyor maintenance, including inspection, repairs, and component replacement.
- Conduct welding and fabrication as needed to support equipment repairs and modifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and related equipment to maintain proper facility conditions.
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs on motors, sensors, switches, and controls.
- Inspect equipment regularly and identify potential maintenance issues before failures occur.
- Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns to reduce production interruptions.
- Complete maintenance work orders accurately and document all repairs performed.
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives to enhance equipment performance and plant efficiency.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals to diagnose issues and guide repairs.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and support production needs.

This is a permanent position based out of Burlington, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $70720.00/yr.
