Job Description As a Security Officer Full-Time in Phoenix, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will monitor access, assist with badge-related processes, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri07:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat07:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of government buildings, public-access areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site. Monitor access points and observe visitor activity to help deter unauthorized entry and support compliance with site access procedures. Complete accurate incident reports, activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: A Guard Card or license is preferred. Experience with access control and badges is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
