Successful candidate should be able to work in a fast environment and be self-motivated. In addition, effective presentation skills are necessary.Essential Job FunctionsActively work with the Maintenance staff and Engineers to identify constantly moving Assets.Add, update, edit or move assets in the CMMSRegularly audit these asset changes to ensure that the asset tree is constantly staying as accurate as possible.This role will involve great attention to detail and discipline in regards to identifying which machine documentation (i.e. electrical versions of mechanical drawings and electrical drawings) get linked to the individual assets.Maintain an asset tagging system, ensuring that all current assets and all new assets coming in get tagged correctly.Interact with other similar roles in the maintenance network to share best practices, lessons learned, and even aid in planning and setting up maintenance procedures where value-added.QualificationsRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent2+ years of related experience in a maintenance distribution or manufacturing environmentComputer skills (Microsoft Office and Excel)Preferred QualificationsPrefer maintenance skilled trade training or equivalent experiencePrefer experience working with hourly employees as well as exempt personnelExcellent organizational, filing, and recordkeeping skillsSelf-starterAbility to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategyDesire to help build Maintenance processes in a dynamic, fast-growing environmentStrong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving abilityPhysical RequirementsRequires repetitive movementRequires walkingRequires kneeling, crouching and stoopingRequires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controlsRequires lifting up to 50 pounds while bending, twisting and/or standing
