Job Title Solids Control Operator - Agriculture Services Overview C&H Solutions in Ault, Colorado is actively hiring for a Solids Control Operator - Agriculture Services to support their expanding Agricultural (Ag) Solids business. This is a full-time position focused on managing manure and biosolids, utilizing heavy machinery, and handling pumps and fluid systems in the region. Job Responsibilities Operating heavy farm machinery, including tractors and specialized manure handling equipment. Managing, pumping, and transporting agricultural solids and fluids (manure/biosolids) at on‑site and off‑site locations. Washing, greasing, and performing routine maintenance on pumps, PTOs, and other equipment. Assisting in setting up and tearing down, managing lines and pumps in varied terrain. Completing daily reports and monitoring system levels. Qualifications Experience operating large farm equipment is preferred. General knowledge of fluid dynamics, pumps, hoses, and connections is required. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, lift up to 60 pounds, and perform manual labor. Valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug test and physical. Ability to work well in a team environment to meet deadlines. Additional Information This position focuses specifically on agriculture and waste management, such as lagoon cleaning and manure handling. About the Position C&H Solutions in Ault, Colorado is currently seeking candidates to fill several full‑time positions supporting our growing Ag Solids business. The position reports to the business unit manager and is responsible for operating heavy farm machinery and equipment, project/job set up and tear down, fluid/solids handling at multiple on‑site and off‑site locations in the region. The ability to work as a team and effectively complete assigned duties is critical to our success. Detailed Responsibilities Operate farm equipment and machinery to support the solids (manure handling) business. Maintain condition of assigned vehicles – wash, grease, and maintain PTO. Complete daily documentation and reporting. Monitor pumps to maintain rate, and tanks to maintain levels. Show up on time and ready to work until the job is done. Perform duties outside and be prepared for all weather conditions. Follow and support workplace safety and compliance. Work well in a team environment to achieve objectives and deadlines. Perform various related tasks and duties as assigned. Experience operating large farm equipment. General knowledge of fluid dynamics, fluid handling – pumps, hoses, connections. Experience with hooking and unhooking equipment from draw bar or 3‑point PTO. Work safely with understanding of body and equipment placement. Strong mechanical aptitude. Demonstrated success working on/with teams. Ability and willingness to work "seasonal" overtime. Ambitious self‑starter – ability to work with limited direct oversight. Valid driver’s license. Ability to lift 75 pounds. Key Qualifications Experience operating large farm equipment. General knowledge of fluid dynamics, pumps, hoses, connections.
