With the support of an experienced para already in place, you’ll have the resources you need to foster a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education (SPED) endorsement required
• Experience working with autistic students is highly desirable
• Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies is a strong plus
• Prior experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is advantageous
• Ability to collaborate with staff and communicate effectively with students and families

Responsibilities:

• Lead a classroom of eight students with ASD, creating individualized education plans to meet their unique needs
• Implement evidence-based instructional methods, including ABA, to drive student growth
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals and related service providers to ensure a holistic approach to learning
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with families and fellow educators
• Monitor progress and adapt strategies to maximize student potential
• Foster a structured, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment

This full-time role runs from 7am to 4pm, starting as soon as possible and extending through late May 2027, giving you the chance to establish meaningful relationships with students over multiple school years.
