Position Summary

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Finance & Operations is a member of ICP's executive leadership team and provides strategic leadership for the organization's financial and administrative functions. The Director develops long-term operational strategy, strengthens organizational infrastructure, and leads the teams responsible for finance, human resources, technology, and administrative operations to support ICP's continued growth and mission.

This newly created position plays a central role in shaping the systems, policies, and operational framework that enable ICP to deliver exceptional clinical care, professional training, and community programs. The Director currently leads a Finance & Operations team consisting of three full-time employees, three part-time employees, and two outsourced service providers, while helping shape the department's future structure as the organization continues to grow. Working in partnership with the Executive Director, Executive Leadership Team, Board of Directors, and Finance Committee, the Director helps ensure the organization remains financially strong, operationally effective, and well positioned for future growth.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Leadership & Organizational Strategy

• • Develop and implement long-range financial and operational strategies that support ICP's mission, growth, and long-term sustainability.
  • Partner with the Executive Director on organizational planning, resource allocation, and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify organizational risks and develop strategies to strengthen operational effectiveness, compliance, and financial stewardship.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve organizational performance, efficiency, and collaboration across departments.
  • Evaluate organizational systems, technology, and operational investments to support long-term strategic goals.

Financial Leadership

• • Provide strategic direction for the organization's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit readiness.
  • Monitor organizational financial performance and recommend strategies that strengthen long-term financial sustainability.
  • Oversee relationships with external accountants, auditors, banking partners, payroll providers, and other financial service vendors.

Organizational Operations & Infrastructure

• • Lead the ongoing development and optimization of ICP's operational infrastructure, systems, policies, and administrative processes.
  • Provide executive oversight of the organization's electronic health record (EHR), technology platforms, facilities operations, and vendor relationships to ensure effective, secure, and efficient operations.
  • Ensure operational systems support organizational priorities while identifying opportunities to improve workflows and organizational effectiveness.

Human Resources & Organizational Development

• • Establish and oversee organizational practices related to human resources, payroll, employee benefits, compliance, and personnel administration.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Operations team while fostering a collaborative, service-oriented culture that promotes accountability, professional growth, and operational excellence.

Revenue Cycle Oversight

• • Provide executive oversight of insurance billing, reimbursement, patient accounts, collections, and revenue cycle performance, ensuring appropriate systems, accountability, and financial stewardship.
  • Partner with internal staff and external vendors to strengthen revenue cycle operations and support accurate, timely financial reporting.

Board & Executive Partnership

• • Present financial and operational analyses, recommendations, and strategic initiatives to the Executive Director, Finance Committee, and Board of Directors.
