Flight Test Engineer (Experienced, Lead or Senior)Company:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) is looking for FlightTest Engineers to join our test operations team in Oklahoma City, OK, supporting the Executive Transport and Surveillance portfolio.This role is primarily first shift; however, there may be occasional requirement to work off Friday/weekend or off shifts to support test execution. In addition, this role will require up to 25% domestic travel with potential for a longer-term assignment or DTA (domestic temporary assignment).BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced, Lead, and Senior Flight Test Engineers.Position Responsibilities:Plan, coordinate, and execute aircraft ground and flight test activities in support of developmental, certification, or operational test programsDevelop and author flight test plans, test procedures, test cards, and test reports, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirementsSupport real-time test operations, including test conduct, data assessment, and anomaly resolution during lab, ground, and flight test eventsCollaborate closely with pilots, maintenance, instrumentation, safety, systems engineering, and program leadership to ensure safe and effective test executionParticipate and lead test readiness reviews (TRRs), safety reviews, and post test reviews, identifying risks, mitigations, and lessons learnedTroubleshoot and resolve test issues and anomalies, coordinating with engineering and program stakeholders to drive timely resolutionEnsure adherence to configuration management, test discipline, and procedural compliance throughout all phases of testingSupport multiple test programs or test phases simultaneously, balancing priorities in a dynamic test environmentInterface with customers, regulatory authorities, or external partners as required during test planning, execution, and reportingMentor and support junior flight test engineers, as appropriate, sharing best practices and flight test disciplinePromote and model a strong safety culture, emphasizing hazard identification, risk management, and continuous improvementSupport on-site and off-site test operations including travel to test locations, production facilities, or operational bases as requiredThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is requiredThis position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship onlyBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statementExperience in developmental, certification, or operational test environments (ground test, flight test, or integrated test campaigns)Hands-on experience with test planning and execution, including test procedures, test cards, risk assessments, and real-time test supportCurrent FAA Class III medical certificate or the ability to obtain oneWilling and able to travel up to 25% of the time both domestically and internationallyPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Level 4: 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceLevel 5: 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceAn active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
