Housekeeper/Laundry Supervisor
Job Summary:
Arcadia Care Morris is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry Supervisor to join our team. As a vital member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation throughout our facility, while also supervising and mentoring our laundry team. Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the laundry team to ensure efficient and effective processing of soiled linens and clothing
Inspect laundry areas, equipment, and supplies to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper functioning
Conduct quality control checks on cleaned and laundered items to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain a clean and organized facility
Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure a thorough and consistent cleaning of all areas, including resident rooms, common areas, and public spaces
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
Comply with safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for all team members

Requirements:
Previous experience in a housekeeping or laundry supervisory role, preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
High school diploma or equivalent required
