Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Med-Surg/Telemetry

Position Overview

This role is for a travel Registered Nurse specializing in Med-Surg and Telemetry. The position requires someone who is adaptable, skilled, and eager to provide quality care to patients in acute settings. The nurse will work night shifts, displaying a commitment to meeting the needs of patients during critical hours.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med-Surg/Telemetry units.
Monitor patient vital signs and quickly respond to changes in condition.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-discharge care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with facility standards.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control practices.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Med-Surg/Telemetry.
Current RN licensure valid in the state of practice.
Required certifications prior to start, as per the latest standards.
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
