Physician - Nephrology- OpenAssistant/Associate Professor/Professor of Medicine/Nephrology - OU Health - The University Of OklahomaThe OU Health Sciences Center and OU Health are seeking a highly skilled and motivated nephrologist to join our dynamic academic medical center. The successful candidate will contribute to excellence in clinical care, education, and research in the field of nephrology. This is a full-time faculty position with appointment at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor/Professor in the Department of Medicine, College of Medicine with opportunities for career advancement. This position will be a consecutive term appointment in the clinician educator pathway.Required qualifications include a doctoral degree (MD or equivalent), board certification or eligibility in internal medicine and nephrology, eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Oklahoma, and demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research.Preferred qualifications include proven ability to collaborate across disciplines and foster a collegial academic environment, prior experience in medical education and/or clinical research, and interest in quality improvement, population health, or health disparities research.Areas of responsibility include clinical care, teaching and mentorship, research and scholarly activity, administrative and leadership duties, and work environment.Compensation and benefits are competitive, commensurate with experience and academic rank, and include a comprehensive benefits package, opportunities for promotion and leadership within the department.Oklahoma City is a dynamic, fast-growing metropolis with a thriving economy anchored by energy, aerospace, biotechnology, and a surging tech sector.
