Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for a growing Tampa-area organization. This is a great opportunity for an AP professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and problem-solving.
$24-$27/hr
Responsibilities
- Process and code vendor invoices
- Perform invoice matching and payment processing (checks, ACH, wires)
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain vendor records and supporting documentation
- Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptly
- Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations
- Support audits and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Experience with accounting or ERP systems
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
