Administrative Assistant

Start your new career as an Administrative Assistant with MAU in Conyers, GA . As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative and operational support through invoice processing, recordkeeping, reception duties, reporting, office coordination, and shipping support in a fast-paced work environment. What We Offer:
- $20.00 per hour
- First shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday
- Temp-to-hire opportunity
- High school diploma or GED
- 0–1 year of administrative support experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to multitask and efficiently manage priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proactive, self-motivated approach with strong attention to detail
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels, including executive leadership, as well as vendors, customers, and visitors
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Willingness to spend time in a production, distribution, or manufacturing environment as needed
- Ability to work in an environment that may have minimal temperature control and seasonal exposure to excessive heat or cold
- Ability to perform occasional physical work involving 10–25 lbs
- Ability to travel 0–10%
- Process invoices and verify them against purchase orders and packing lists to ensure accurate billing
- Submit payables to the corporate accounting department as needed
- Answer incoming calls, provide customer service, welcome visitors, and coordinate facility escorts
- Generate administrative and operational reports as required
- Coordinate the purchase of office supplies and help maintain clean common office areas
- Coordinate employee activities and facility events and provide support during events
- Serve as backup to the Shipping Coordinator, including processing shipment documentation for drivers
- Support general administrative functions such as recordkeeping, mail distribution, reception, office operations, and purchase administration
- Perform other duties as assigned
