Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Classification: Hourly/Non-ExemptDepartment: ClinicalReports to: Clinical DirectorJob DescriptionThe Behavior Analyst will work under the supervision of the Clinical Director (BCBA) and must adhere to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Ethics Code. This role involves providing behavior analytic services, including:Assisting in conducting assessmentsDeveloping behavior support plans and guidelinesCollecting and graphing behavior dataProviding staff training and feedbackAssisting in crisis situationsEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement data collection systemsGraph and summarize behavior data regularlyTrain staff on Positive Behavioral Supports, behavior plans, behavior guidelines, medical treatment plans, data collection, and other behavioral techniquesConduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) using direct and indirect assessment methodsCreate or assist in developing Behavior Support Plans and Behavior GuidelinesSupervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)Manage a caseload of individuals receiving behavioral servicesCollaborate with families, guardians, and residential staff to address participant behavioral needsAssist in behavioral crisis situations as neededMaintain a valid Safety Care certificationAttend Human Rights Committee and clinical review meetingsFollow all agency safety standards and adhere to Charles River Center policies and proceduresPerform additional duties as needed in alignment with the organization’s mission and philosophyQualificationsMaster’s degree in Applied Behavior AnalysisCurrent BCBA license and certification (must be maintained annually)At least two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and autismValid driver’s licenseSuccessful completion of all state and agency-mandated trainingMust authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information concerning allegations from Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC), Department of Developmental Services (DDS), and other agenciesMust be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily (reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilitiesLanguage SkillsMust be fluent in EnglishAbility to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulationsStrong written communication skills, including report writing and business correspondenceAbility to effectively communicate with staff, families, and community membersPhysical DemandsAbility to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlAbility to lift/move up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. occasionallyRequires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustmentReasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilitiesReasoning AbilityAbility to follow detailed written and oral instructionsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions #J-18808-Ljbffr
