Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - OR Circulator for a Days position requiring 2+ years of OR experience and multi-specialty expertise.
Details
- Surgical Department with 7 operating room suites
- Full spectrum of surgical specialties represented, except open-heart surgery
- Uses Paragon EMR
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
- Rotating on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage required
Requirements
- Active MI RN license required at time of submission
- Compact license not accepted
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- 2+ years of OR circulating experience required
- Experience required in Ortho, General, GYN, Urology, and Neuro surgical specialties
- Trauma Level II experience preferred
- Skills checklist completed within one year of application required
Additional Information
- Deliver quality nursing care through utilization of the nursing process
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to maintain professional nursing standards
- Carry out functions according to medical center policy and professional/regulatory guidelines
- Hospital-provided scrubs required
- Local candidates within a 35-mile radius are eligible for local traveler rates
- No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
- Full-time McLaren employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment
