Location : Houston, TX (Onsite) - Must be local

Pay: 28.00-32.00+ DOE

Contrac t: 12-Month+ Contract with extension or conversion potential

The Buyer is responsible for procuring materials and services to support manufacturing operations. This role ensures timely material availability, maintains MRP planning data, manages purchase orders, and collaborates with internal teams to support production schedules and inventory goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule material and service purchases.

• Maintain MRP data, including lead times, safety stock, and order quantities.

• Issue and update purchase orders and work orders.

• Review non-conforming materials and coordinate material movement.

• Obtain supplier quotes and support vendor communications.

• Communicate supply issues to internal stakeholders.

• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing and planning processes.

• Bachelor's degree preferred
