3rd Shift Production Supervisor - Direct Hire
Richmond, VA
3rd shift hours: 12am - 8am 
Hourly Rate: $30.00 + based on experience 
Full Benefits Package!  KELLY has partnered with a premiere manufacturing company in Richmond, VA and seeking a 3rd shift Production Supervisor to join their team!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members to meet production targets and deadlines. 
• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and maintenance. 
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Train and mentor production staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
• Analyze production data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate effectively with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to ensure seamless operations.
• Address and resolve any production-related issues or conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and reduce Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and facility policy

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing production teams to meet or exceed performance targets.

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement Requirements

Physical Requirements

• Lifting Capacity: Warehouse workers often need to lift and carry heavy objects, which can weigh up to 50 pounds or more.
• Endurance: Workers are usually on their feet for extended periods, which requires stamina to sustain energy throughout the workday.
• Mobility: The ability to maneuver in tight spaces and on various surfaces is crucial.
