Non-Negotiables

• You must hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline
• You must have at least 10 years of relevant engineering experience in high-precision continuous process industries such as extrusion, coating, or polymer processing
• You must have proven experience managing a full engineering group including process, controls, reliability, facility, and maintenance engineers
• You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident green card holder, as sponsorship is not available
• You must demonstrate strong communication skills to gain buy-in from engineers, operators, and stakeholders
• You must not be a Vice President, Director, long-term consultant, or an individual with a history of job hopping
• You must be a proactive leader who drives change through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team covering process, controls, facility, and maintenance functions
• Lead capital planning, CAPEX budgeting, and operating expense management for Engineering and Maintenance departments
• Drive a culture of safety, continuous improvement, accountability, teamwork, and integrity within the engineering team
• Lead projects focused on process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Oversee troubleshooting and root cause analysis for quality, productivity, and safety issues
• Support New Product Introduction and engineering change processes to ensure manufacturability and production readiness
• Collaborate with Quality and Sales to ensure adherence to customer requirements and ISO standards

Preferred Qualifications

• An advanced degree in engineering or a related field is preferred
• Experience in battery, specialty film, or other high-precision continuous process manufacturing is highly desirable
• CAPEX project management expertise is a strong plus
• Expertise in Lean and Six Sigma with a proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis and statistical problem-solving
• Effective presentation skills to communicate technical data and project status to both internal stakeholders and customers
• Willingness to travel occasionally to other plant locations and vendors as needed
