Business Developer / BDR Conroe, TX | Hybrid | Direct Hire | Salary + Commission About the Role We're looking for a driven Business Developer to generate new business by qualifying opportunities and engaging key decision-makers — through phone and face-to-face sales. Success here means confidence selling essential services, disciplined daily execution, and strong consultative selling skills: active listening, sharp questioning, and clear communication. What You'll Do Generate new clients — qualify prospects, assess needs and budget, and move deals toward a fast, seamless handoff to our staffing team Drive high sales activity — outbound calls, face-to-face visits, and strategic appointments with decision-makers, all tracked in our sales system Build and manage your pipeline — hundreds of accounts per quarter, with your top prospects prioritized for closing Plan your territory — divide your market strategically and maximize field time around high-potential prospects Lead with value — stay ahead of labor market trends, bring consultative insight to every conversation, and grow existing accounts Collaborate daily with your internal team to keep opportunities and job orders moving Network local — with management support, build relationships through local business organizations What Success Looks Like Averaging 2 new clients per week Consistently high call and appointment volume, all logged and followed up on Strong, growing relationships across a well-managed territory What You Bring 1+ year of sales, business development, or related experience Strong prospecting, cold calling, and face-to-face selling skills Excellent communication and consultative selling ability A valid state driver's license and comfort with constant local travel Physical ability to travel between accounts and carry marketing materials in varying conditions Ready to build a sales career with real ownership over your territory and results? #J-18808-Ljbffr Nexusgtalent
