Sr Maintenance TechnicianPOSITION SUMMARY: Assumes responsibility for maintaining and repairing production equipment in a fluid environment. Primary responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing equipment using electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and/or hydraulic skills. Perform facility maintenance such as electrical, plumbing, heating/air, etc.ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES:Responsible for general repairs of the facility including, but not limited to, painting, roof repair, snow removal, and other miscellaneous repairsTroubleshoot and repair equipment using electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills.Must be able to demonstrate familiarity with all equipment and maintenance procedures:Preventative maintenanceBreak down repairReplacement of equipmentRecord keepingInstall new equipment and modify existing equipment as directed by the Maintenance SupervisorMiscellaneous tasks such as cleaning, dock shelter repair, basic grounds upkeep, fork lift repair, etc.Demonstrate required technical skills for the job:ElectricalWeldingPipingWoodworkingPlumbingHVACPLCCalibration of fluid metersPOSITION REQUIREMENTS: Requires a 2-year Electrical or Technical degree and maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have mechanical and electrical skills.
