For the past 11 years, our agency has proudly served the community, and we continue to grow! We currently have a team of 9 dedicated professionals and are looking to expand with individuals who value teamwork, personal growth, and a positive work environment.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As Account Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member for Tim Smith - State Farm Agent, we're looking for a motivated, friendly, and dependable individual to join our growing team! This hybrid role combines customer service and sales , making it an essential part of our agency's daily operations and continued success.

As a Hybrid Team Member, you'll work directly with both existing and prospective customers, helping them with their insurance needs while identifying opportunities to provide additional products and services.

Our agency offers more than auto, home, renters, and life insurance. We also assist customers with financial services, including retirement and investment planning through appropriately licensed professionals. You'll have the opportunity to learn about the different areas of our business while helping customers connect with the right team members for their needs.

We're looking for someone who enjoys talking to people, learns quickly, takes initiative, and is open to coaching and professional growth. Every day brings something different, so being adaptable, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment is important.

Responsibilities

Customer Service & Account Management

• Assist existing customers with billing questions, payments, policy changes, renewals, and general account inquiries.
• Process requests such as adding or removing vehicles, updating coverage, and making policy adjustments.
• Answer incoming phone calls and provide friendly, professional, and timely assistance.
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding requests, documents, and account updates.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and activities.

Sales & Business Development

• Assist prospective customers with new insurance quotes and policy information.
• Proactively contact potential and existing customers to identify insurance needs and opportunities.
• Help grow the agency by building meaningful customer relationships and offering relevant insurance products.
• Schedule and participate in customer appointments and follow-up conversations.
• Identify opportunities to introduce customers to additional insurance products and financial services.
• Work toward individual and team sales goals while maintaining excellent customer service.

Daily Office Operations

• Manage incoming and outgoing calls throughout the day.
• Communicate with customers through phone calls, messages, emails, and scheduled appointments.
• Balance customer service responsibilities with new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure customer needs are handled efficiently.
• Stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and follow through on assigned responsibilities.
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development.
