Program Support SpecialistAt Project HOME, every role contributes to our mission of empowering individuals to achieve stability, wellness, and self-determination. As a Program Support Specialist, you will provide mobile support across Project HOME's residential sites, engaging with staff and residents to support daily programming, managing resident intake/discharge, and responding to on-site incidents as needed. This role requires flexibility, independent work, and authentic, compassionate engagement with individuals experiencing homelessness.Location: Various Sites | Philadelphia, PASchedule: Full-time| Monday - Friday | 10AM-6PM or 11AM-7PMPay Rate: $23.09 per hourWhat You Will Do:Provide initial support, orientation, and individualized recovery planning for new residents, fostering trust and well-being as they transition from homelessness.Coordinate and facilitate resources, referrals, and advocacy for residents in areas like recovery, health, employment, benefits, and supportive services, including medical and psychiatric referrals.Lead group activities, house meetings, and skills-building sessions to promote community, self-efficacy, and adherence to lease and program obligations; assist residents with housing applications and discharge planning.Maintain timely resident records in electronic systems, attend required meetings and trainings, collaborate with internal teams, and act as site lead when the Program Manager/Assistant Program Manager is unavailable.SITE SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS APPLICABLEAssist and support meal preparation with residents - at sites with kitchens or meal services.Medication monitoring and support the organization of the medication room - at sites with medication-monitoring duties.What You Will Bring:High School Diploma/GED with 4 years' relevant experience, Associate's Degree with 2 years' experience, or Bachelor's Degree.Experience supporting individuals recovering from homelessness and/or behavioral health challenges.Flexible availability for evening and weekend hoursValid driver's license.Core Skills:Good verbal and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skillsStrong computer skills and ability to learn computerized case management system.What We OfferProject HOME is committed to supporting the well-being of our employees through a comprehensive benefits package.Eligible employees enjoy:Competitive compensationMedical, dental, and vision insurance with low employee costsCompany-paid life and disability insurancePaid parental leaveFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)401(k) with employer matchingGenerous Paid Time Off, including paid sabbatical leaveEmployee wellness programsProfessional development and career growth opportunitiesWho We AreProject HOME is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization dedicated to ending homelessness and poverty in Philadelphia.
