Job TitlePay Rate: $26 per hour Shift Hours: Monday-Friday 2nd shift (1:45pm-10:15pm) Location: US-Los AngelesResponsibilities:Assemble routine mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and top assemblies of mild to most complex product lines, including commercial parts for customers such as Boeing, Embraer, Gulfstream, Cessna, and Airbus.Occasionally work on electrical assemblies and solder.Ensure activities are performed correctly and proper tooling and documentation are used.Perform lock wire/safety wire and nameplate tasks.Proactively identify best practices.Utilize hand tools such as pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, arbor press, vises, soldering iron, depth micrometers, calipers, lockwire pliers, and dial indicators.Interpret blueprints, verbal, and/or written instructions proficiently.Perform cross-training when required.Prepare materials, including lapping of surfaces with proper tooling techniques and compounds.Perform visual inspections, identify any defective items, and handle them according to established procedures.Adhere to operational procedures and ensure tooling is in calibration before use.Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.May be temporarily reassigned to cover workload in other areas of production as necessary.Requirements:High School diploma, GED, or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.Minimum of two years of experience in assembly manufacturing.Only candidates residing within 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA facility will be considered.Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.Preferred Skills:Minimum of two years prior assembly experience in the Aerospace industry.Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) certification.Experience working in an FAA environment.
