Job Details Job Code: 1003014 Job Family/Function: 10 – Other Support Services / Other Support FLSA: Nonexempt Grade Ladder: MNPS Support Hourly Pay Grade: MNPS.SCH007-H Duration: 201 days/year Locations: School-Based Job Summary Coordinate an in‑school suspension program providing structured academic and counseling experiences for students referred for violating school regulations. Responsibilities Establish and maintain a constructive learning environment. Secure lesson assignments from classroom teachers and monitor student work. Provide assistance and remedial instruction in completing assignments, identifying special needs and securing available resources. Facilitate individual and group exploration of problem behavior and alternatives. Collaborate with staff to facilitate successful reintegration into the student’s regular program. Maintain necessary records on students in program. Conduct parent conferences when appropriate. Conduct follow‑up evaluation of student’s learning program. Education Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (required). Experience Qualifications 1‑3 years of directly applicable experience working with individuals and groups of children considered "difficult" or "disruptive" (required). Compensation Starting at $21.34 per hour. Salary is determined by factors relevant to the position, including education, experience, and other qualifications. Final compensation decisions are made at the discretion of MNPS in alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
