Job Description:
We are seeking a results-driven  Outreach & Referral Coordinator to support developmental disabilities health agency by increasing client enrollment through strategic outreach and referral partnerships. This role focuses on building relationships with community partners and referral sources to help expand access to behavioral health services.

This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable with relationship-based outreach, understands mental health services, and is motivated by referral-driven growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct outreach to community partners, agencies, hospitals, shelters, schools, and other referral sources
• Build and maintain referral relationships to support increased client enrollment for mental health services
• Educate referral partners on available programs and services
• Support referral intake coordination and follow-up
• Track referrals, outreach efforts, and client conversion outcomes
• Represent the agency at community events and networking opportunities
• Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach efforts with program capacity

Qualifications:

• Experience in outreach, referral development, marketing, behavioral health, or human services preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Understanding of mental health or behavioral health services is highly preferred
• Ability to work independently and meet outreach and referral goals
• Organized, motivated, and results-oriented

Preferred Experience:

• Behavioral health or mental health agency experience
• Community partnership or referral-based roles
• Knowledge of local mental health resources
• Northern Virginia based
