Step into an impactful role providing speech and language services to students in a dynamic educational setting near Tacoma, WA. This onsite, full-time contract opportunity spans the entire 26/27 academic year, from August through June. You'll support one elementary and one middle school as an Itinerant Speech Language Pathologist, managing a caseload of approximately 30 students. This is a chance to work closely with diverse learners, helping them develop communication skills that will serve them for a lifetime.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for the state of Washington
• Accepting SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
• Previous experience in school settings or pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Adaptable and compassionate approach to collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language pathology services to elementary and middle school students
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with communication and language challenges
• Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
• Maintain accurate student records and progress documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and recommendations for student goals
• Deliver services on an itinerant basis, rotating between the two assigned schools
