As a Pet Bather at PetSmart, Inc., you will play an essential role in our grooming salon by ensuring that pets are cared for comfortably and look their best. Working under the supervision of professional pet stylists, you'll help prepare pets for their grooming sessions by providing high-quality bathing services. This position is perfect for individuals who love animals and wish to contribute to their well-being while ensuring a pleasant customer experience. Responsibilities Bathe and clean pets using company-approved products and techniques. Assist pet stylists by preparing pets for grooming and performing preliminary brushing and clipping. Maintain clean and safe working environment according to company standards and regulations. Monitor pets for health concerns and report any symptoms to the senior stylist. Manage appointments and maintain efficient schedules. Ability to handle animals gently and calm under pressure. Knowledge of different pet breeds and their grooming needs. Strong communication skills for interacting with pet owners. Basic understanding of cleaning and sanitization processes.
