Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Reporting in Mapleton IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service communicate professionally with employees and visitors and use computer or tablet tools as needed. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities including production areas warehouses offices parking areas access points and the perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials managing visitor and contractor entry and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Observe and report conditions that may affect operations such as unsecured doors damaged fencing equipment concerns or unusual activity following established reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
