The team focuses on collaborating with clients to create extraordinary, personalized experiences for guests. Role Description The Social Media + Event Intern is a part‑time, on‑site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This intern will support the venue’s online presence by assisting with social media content creation, posting, and basic community engagement across key platforms. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include capturing photos and short‑form video at events, drafting captions, scheduling posts, and helping maintain a consistent brand voice. The intern will also assist with event‑related tasks such as preparing marketing materials, coordinating minor logistics, and supporting on‑site staff during select events. The role involves collaborating with the marketing and events team, tracking basic performance metrics, and contributing creative ideas to enhance visibility and guest experience. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing, with an interest in venue or hospitality promotion. Ability to create engaging Social Media Content Creation and Marketing assets tailored to different platforms. Strong Communication skills, including clear writing, professional messaging, and collaborative interaction with team members and clients. Interest or experience in events, hospitality, or lifestyle brands, with a proactive, detail‑oriented work style. Comfort working on‑site in a fast‑paced event environment, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed. Basic familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook; experience with design or scheduling tools (e.g., Canva, Later, or similar) is a plus.
