About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Technology & AI for Risk Advisory and Global Chief Underwriting Office. This senior executive role is pivotal in acting as the strategic technology and AI partner, ensuring that business strategy is effectively translated into technology and AI roadmaps. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping demand, driving decision-making, and maintaining delivery accountability within the technology and AI function. Key responsibilities include executive technology and AI leadership, strategy-to-execution translation, enterprise alignment, investment governance, and portfolio ownership. The role also demands a strong focus on AI adoption, business transformation, and a partnership with risk, compliance, legal, and security to ensure regulatory and control requirements are met. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of business strategy, financial drivers, and operational performance levers, as well as a robust background in enterprise technology, including product engineering, agile delivery, cloud platforms, data platforms, and AI enablement. They should possess outstanding abilities in evaluating AI opportunities and have a strong delivery and portfolio discipline. A risk and regulatory mindset, particularly in the context of insurance, is essential, as is the ability to build deep trust and manage relationships effectively. The role requires a leader who can balance innovation with value, and who is adept at challenging and influencing senior stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
