Hana Engineers and Consultants, LLC is seeking a full-time Proposal and Marketing Assistant to support our growing Proposal and Marketing teams. This position focuses on maintaining accurate, well-organized data, and preparing high-quality content that supports proposal development and marketing initiatives. The role is proposal-focused, with marketing support as a secondary but ongoing responsibility.

Duty Location(s): Hybrid in North Charleston, SC (in-office minimum of three days per week, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Minimum expected daily hours of availability are 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., with flexibility outside of these hours to meet a standard 40-hour workweek. 

Core Roles/Responsibilities:

Core Proposal and Marketing Contributions 

• Maintain and update proposal and marketing content, including resumes, project descriptions, SF330 data, and past performance. 
• Prepare and format proposal and marketing templates with current information provided by the Proposal and Marketing teams. 
• Ensure consistency and basic formatting accuracy across resumes, project narratives, and marketing materials. 

Quality and Submission Support 

• Support basic content accuracy by reviewing documents for formatting, alignment, and completeness. 
• Help organize proposal files, maintain version control, and ensure materials are properly archived. 

Marketing Content and Brand Support 

• Support marketing collateral, internal communications, and social media content by updating approved materials, gathering project information, and formatting content. 
• Help maintain brand consistency by using established templates, logos, and formatting standards. 
• Support internal communications through gathering updates, drafting light content, or formatting announcements. 
• Assist with producing high-quality internal and external information graphics and data representation. 
• Technical writing, editing, graphic design, and video experience are a plus. 

Collaboration and Workflow Support 

• Support data requests by responding to updates during active proposal pursuits and marketing initiatives and communicating with internal stakeholders about workflow. 
• Pull reports for mass content updates using existing tools and templates. 
• Identify opportunities for multiple use of existing materials, including using organizational tools for greater efficiency. 

Required Qualifications:  

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain professionalism in detail-oriented, deadline-driven environments. 
• Strong ability to pivot between assignments as priorities change. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
• Proficient in document and file management systems and cloud-based content. 
• Strong ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate information across stakeholders. 
• Ability to maintain traceable data records for audit readiness. 
• At least one (1) year of experience in proposal support, administrative, data management, or a related role, which may include relevant internships or applicable college coursework and projects. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States and able to pass a standard federal background check. 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Familiarity with A/E/C or federal proposals (especially SF330) is a plus. 
• Experience working with proposal and marketing content management or collaboration platforms such as Expedience, SharePoint, Notion, and Microsoft OneDrive. 
• Basic familiarity with graphic or template-based design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign or similar applications) is beneficial. 
• WordPress, HTML, or other website platform or content-management experience. 
• Experience with social media production, management, and analytics. 
• Experience in technical writing and/or editing. 
• Experience with database entry and reporting procedures. 

This role is designed as a foundational position with opportunities for growth in Proposal Coordination, Marketing Operations, or other business development support roles based on performance and organizational needs. 

Starting pay = $50,000 - $60,000 depending on experience.
